If you are exhausted from doing up your home and entertaining guests and have no time or energy left for sex – you sure need help!

Here are five natural, easily available ways to enhance the female libido.

Aphrodisiacs: These are certain foods known for heightening one’s sexual impulses, arousal, and response.

Chocolate . Have a low- cal choc every alternate day and you are good to go girl!

Chili peppers . Trigger the pleasure-releasing endorphins.

Oysters. They increase testosterone levels which benefits both male and female.

Ginkgo. This herb helps the body achieve optimal blood circulation, which is important for sexual stimulation.

Wild yam . This one is a sexual stimulant.

However, there are other areas of your life where you need to focus as well.

Sleep well: If you are not sleeping well and aren’t getting the mandatory 8 hours, chances are you are cranky and downright uncomfortable. Who can think of sex, and on top of it, great sex, in such a condition? So come what may get the required dose of sleep.

Get fit, babe: Inactivity leads to a dip in sexual energy levels. Go get outside, let the fresh air do its trick on you and have you bursting with energy. Or try yoga and swimming and look and feel fit. And sex, well, you won’t be able to stop.

Stress : Any kind, whether it’s between people, at work or even while driving inhibits your sexual skills. Reach home, relax with some wine, music and have friends over. Share the problems you are having with those close to you. Watch stress disappear, giving way to a happy and content, and surely more-interested-in-sex you.

I am 46 years young(?) and have recently had problems in a relationship with my long-term partner. There are several reasons for this (as in a lot of relationships) but believe that it is partly because of my lack of libido. He is a very sexual man with a gorgeous body etc. My sex drive is an issue – instigating the process seems to be the problem for me. I don’t have kids so don’t have that extra pressure. I experience depression but don’t think that is the issue/excuse (I could be wrong) but really need some advice on ‘sparking’up my libido. Any suggestions?

Are you taking any medication for depression? It can often take a huge toll on your libido. The supplements recommended here could be very useful in your case as you have mentioned that it’s the desire that is lacking. Apart from pills, gel can also help you walk that extra mile to instigate the process which you are unable to do at the moment. But it is advisable to consult your doctor to see how your depression might be interfering with your lack of libido.

I am a 58 year old woman. I still have lots of sex drive left in me. I haven’t had a period in about 4 years. My Doctor had prescribed a vaginal hormone cream to be used twice a week for dryness. On other days, I moisturize with
“Replens”. These work well for me as far as the dryness,
However – I miss the bigger orgasms that I used to have when I was younger. As I get older – it just seems more difficult to get there. Also blood pressure and thyroid medicine might be a factor.

It seems that the Vigorelle or HerSolution Gel might be perfect for me. Will these products clash with my medicines? Please advise. Thanks

HerSolution/Vigorelle are completely safe but if you are taking any prescription medication you should consult your doctor before starting these supplements.

I had a hysterectomy (everything removed except one ovary), I have sufferered from manic depression most of my adult life,(runs in the family). My desire for sex has been almost none existent. Is there something to increase my desire, my doc has tried a few things but without any success. Please I want to want to have sex with my husband because I desire it, not just to take care of his needs.

Hysterectomy, as mentioned in several comments, takes a huge toll on your sex drive. Hersolution has helped many women in such cases to get their desire back to a certain extent if not to the extent they had before.

I am 28yrs old, I have not had a sex drive since I was 19-20, and before then it was only that my partner was so eager and did everything that anything happened- 10 years have passed and my partner is “fed up” in a sense of my lack of interest, it’s harder now also as I have two chn under 2, and own/run my own business- I have nothing left for our relationship by the end of the day, any suggestions on building my non existent libido? It’s not a case of disatisfaction either as when we are active, I always orgasm.

Your family life and work schedule is hampering your sexual life. Try to take some more time out for your husband so you can share some romantic moments together. Try leaving your children with their grandparents for a weekend (if possible) and go for a romantic break to possibly get the spark back. Of course you can try these pills to help in this quest.

I am 47 yrs. old, married, and have 4 girls ranging from 21 down to 5yrs. I have never experienced an orgasm with a partner but I have several times in dreams. I have sought counceling in many different (I tried traditionsl counceling and hormonal replacement treatment) realms but without success. My husband is very loving and supportive. But he is very active. I perform without much feelings and to be honest, I ready to start enjoying it myself. What do you recommend for me to try? Thank you!

If you are experiencing orgasms during sleep and not during intercourse then you perhaps need to work on your technique to make sex more exciting. Obviously you are not getting the right stimulation in the right areas to help you achieve an orgasm. Does something specific make you get an orgasm in sleep? Perhaps you should try that with your husband. Have you tried masturbating to see if you get an orgasm? If yes, then you should actually try what you imagine during the act. Play out your fantasies.

I am a 42yr old woman and a mother of 3,but 3 yrs ago I had a partial hysterectomy and I have alot of problems climaxing. I haven’t never tried any products on the market these days cause I don’t really know if they really work. I feel as if I have serious problems in the bedroom with my boyfriend. I do not climax thru sex its really hard for me,and thru oral stimulation I can but not more than once,I was wondering if you could suggest something for me to try.Thank you

    • admin says:

Partial/Full hysterectomy has been known to mess up your drive as well ability to climax. Gels help you achieve climax more easily as they stimulate your sexual organs locally so if drive it not an issue then you might want to try these gels which would probably solve your problem. If not, you could consider prescription treatments in consultation with your doctor.
